How often is it that you are in one room that has investors, experienced (not to mention successful entrepreneurs) willing to give you the secret to launching a successful startup? The “Time is Now” Festival is a celebration, as well as an opportunity to gain gems of information, as well as network with other emerging entrepreneurs?
The clip below should be one of many motivators register today:
If you have a young startup, this is the type of event for you. Our sole purpose of putting together this event is to help you gain exposure, and grow. If you would like to learn more please fill out this form, and one of our organizers will be in touch with you.
Yes, We will be doing walk-up registration on the day of the event if (and only if) the event hasn’t sold out at that point.
Of course you may! In fact we encourage it, because we’ve all been in that position and the TIME IS NOW to get closer to having that moment of clarity.
This event was built by emerging entrepreneurs for emerging entrepreneurs, meaning we know all too well to the struggle of having limited access to funds. For Students tickets will cost $5, and young professionals (ages 22+) tickets are $10. To register click here.
There is an application process that you would go through, to determine if you would be a fit for the festival. There are two methods we would go about approving you to be a vendor at the festival, one you could pay a rate starting out at $30 flat booth fee, or pay nothing upfront and pay 20% of your total sales at the event. You must first apply under The Pitch section of our site, and once we’ve received all company proposals, we will go through each of the submissions, and determine three companies to pitch to the crowd. There will be investors, and veteran entrepreneurs in the crowd, so be sure to come with your “A” game. The deadline for submissions is going at 11:59pm on November 7th, 2013. We will alert the companies who was chosen to pitch by the following Monday, November 11th.
The concepts and companies we’re choosing, are going to be the ones that seem to be in the best position to emerge as viable startups. If you’re not chosen it is ok, you will have a chance to redeem yourselves later in the evening.
All companies chosen to pitch during the event, would have been approved by the “Time is Now” Personnel. Other than the fact, there is no requirements other than only have 180 seconds (three minutes) to pitch your company to the audience. Please be advised, that we will stop you exactly at the three minute mark, so if you’re chosen be sure you’ve practiced.
Everything that happens during the “Time is Now” is technically in the public domain. In our experience, it is quite unlikely that an idea will get stolen, but as most successful entrepreneurs will say, ideas aren’t worth anything unless you execute and do something with them. Also, your idea will probably shift dramatically as your concept develops.
